What attracted you to this property or what was your first impression of this property?

I was drawn to Half Moon’s strong work culture and the high standards of service that the staff upholds. The opportunity to be part of such a dedicated team and contribute to the resort’s legacy was incredibly appealing.

When did you first know that you wanted to pursue a career in this field?

My interest in Human Resources was sparked during my time in the BPO sector. I realized the critical role HR plays in shaping an organization's culture, driving employee engagement, and contributing to overall business success. The opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives and careers is what truly drew me to this field.

What makes you passionate about the hospitality industry?

The hospitality industry is a dynamic and ever-evolving field that offers countless opportunities for personal and professional growth. I’m excited about the chance to learn new skills, work with diverse teams, and develop my career within such a vibrant industry.

What is the most important lesson that you've learned since joining the Salamander Team?

The hospitality industry is constantly evolving, and it's essential to stay updated on the latest trends and best practices. I've learned the importance of continuous learning. By embracing change and seeking new knowledge, we can stay ahead of the curve.

Share a piece of advice you've received in your career that has stuck with you and made a significant impact.

One of the most valuable pieces of advice I've received from my leader is to strike a balance between heart and mind. It's crucial to approach challenges with both empathy and strategic thinking. Balancing both allows you to navigate challenges with a calm and rational approach, while also maintaining a positive and optimistic outlook. A mentor once told me that empathy is the cornerstone of effective leadership. By truly understanding the needs and perspectives of others, I can create a more compassionate and supportive work environment.

What's one thing most people don't know about you?

While I may seem reserved, I’m deeply empathetic and attuned to the emotions of others.

What is one thing you can't live without?

My family is the cornerstone of my life. Their love and support are essential to my happiness and well-being.

What are some of your favorite hobbies?

One of my favorite hobbies is watching a good series. A good series transports me to different times and places, evoke strong emotions, and sparks my imagination. It's a wonderful way to escape reality for a while and recharge.

If you had the power to master any skill instantly, what would it be?

Sign language. I'm fascinated by the intricate hand movements and facial expressions that convey meaning.

If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?

I'd definitely choose teleportation. Imagine the possibilities. No more traffic jams, no more long flights, and best of all, instant access to all-you-can-eat buffets around the world. Poof! I'm in Tokyo, then Rome, and back home for dinner. It'd be the ultimate life hack!

What is a passion project or personal goal you're actively pursuing outside of work?

Outside of work, I'm dedicated to furthering my education by pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management. I'm excited about the opportunity to deepen my knowledge and skills in this field, allowing me to contribute even more effectively to our team.

What would your perfect weekend look like?

My perfect weekend involves cozying up in bed all day, indulging in a good series, and treating myself to some delicious takeout.

Who is your hero and why?

My hero is undoubtedly my mother. She is the epitome of a virtuous woman, always radiating kindness, strength, and unwavering love. Her dedication to her family has been an inspiration to me. My mother is truly the heart of our family, and I am eternally grateful for her love and guidance.

Dubai

Historical event you would have liked to witness?

I would be interested in seeing Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon for the first time. It was a tremendous accomplishment that motivated generations and stretched the limits of human exploration.
