QUESTION & ANSWER

What attracted you to this property?
I was originally attracted to this property because my school placed me in the hotel while they were getting our apartment ready in my senior year of college. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and made me feel like the most special person in the world during such a stressful time. When I saw a job opening, I jumped at it. I wanted to make others feel as special as I did while I stayed in the hotel.
When did you first know that you wanted to pursue a career in this field?
I have been in hospitality for as long as I can remember. Whether that was food service or on the phones at other jobs. Surprisingly, I applied to be a server at this hotel because it was what I had been doing previously. I had found that I was a master at serving up smiles, but the team heard me talk about my passions and decided that I needed to be a PBX Operator right then and there. I don't regret their decision at all. I love hearing someone tell me that I helped ease their worries by assisting with their vacation plans.
What makes you passionate about the hospitality industry?
If there is any way at all that I can help put a smile on someone's face, then I will go above and beyond just to make their day a little better. I am able to help so many people and ease so many people's worries in my field. I love what I do!
In your opinion, where is the best spot to visit at the resort and why?
La Patisserie is my favorite spot because the coffee is always amazing, it has a cozy atmosphere especially during the holidays and you can never go wrong with a fresh pastry!

I have been professionally making costumes for the past 10 years for competitions.

If you had the power to master one skill instantly, what would it be?
Cooking or baking any recipe I can find with perfection on the first try.
What is a passion project or personal goal you're actively pursuing outside of work
I would love to be a stage manager full time. It has been a passion of mine since highschool. There are not many people in theatre that look like me. I was inspired by someone that looked like me onstage and backstage. I want to inspire someone else to not be afraid to do what they love!
If you could have any superpower, what would you choose?
Shapeshifting
What would your perfect weekend look like?
Going thrifting with my best friend, seeing my family and getting a snack at our favorite restaurant afterwards.
Who is your hero and why?
My mother is my hero because I have watched her accomplish so much even though she had so many obstacles in her way. She has shown me that as long as I believe in myself then I can accomplish anything I want. Currently, she is working on her PHD so she can teach at the college level.
